My LinkedIn Journey

I’m not sure whether you relate or not, but for years, I didn’t even dare to click the "like" button on LinkedIn... 😬

...let alone post anything or network with people. It all seemed so intimidating, uncomfortable, and sooo cringeee.

“Who am I to think people would want to read my posts?”
“There are so many smarter and more experienced people than me!”
“What should I even post about?”
“And what will others think of me?”

These were exactly the thoughts that held me back for about 7 years from becoming active on LinkedIn.

Even though I’d been consistently reading posts from other marketers and copywriters, learning the ins and outs of the platform, the thought of posting myself was a definite "no-go."

But things changed in fall of 2023 👀

After 7 years of "lurking" on LinkedIn and learning from other content creators, I finally decided to take the leap of faith and publish my first post.

Before hitting the "Post" button, I mentally prepared myself for the possibility that this post might get 0 likes, 0 comments, 0 views — whatever else I could get a 0 of — but at least I would’ve done it, and I could pat myself on the back 😅

Looking back, my fears were way bigger than the reality (surprise, surprise, Kristo!), and exactly one year later, the numbers are much higher than I could’ve imagined when I posted that first update.

As of today, I have...

🤓 Invested over 1250 hours in LinkedIn (thanks for the data, Toggl!)
🤓 Invested over €7500 on LinkedIn and personal branding courses

which has resulted in...

🎉 Turning 440 passive contacts into over 4280 awesome followers
🎉 Writing more than 100 posts for myself and ghostwriting clients
🎉 Getting over 375,000 views on my posts
🎉 I’m now actively training other entrepreneurs, specialists, and companies on LinkedIn
🎉 I’ve received amazing collaboration offers, podcast invitations, and new clients
🎉 I’m in contact with some of the biggest content creators and trainers in Europe

And as I mentioned, I teach others how to use LinkedIn and create content based on my field-tested tactics, experiences, and knowledge.

I do all of this so others don’t have to spend thousands of hours and euros on their own trial-and-error lessons, but can instead accelerate from 0 to 100 in just a few hours after going through my training.
